short hair (again)

I let an entire month go by between entries? It's like I grew up and got a life or something. When did that happen?!

Things are good. The new school year is going well, it looks like I've got a pretty good class, so I'm happy. Having our own home is wonderful, except that I have more responsibilities and chores now. We both have today off, so we spent the first half of the day cleaning. His mom and step-dad are on their way over for the first time and I need to impress my mother-in-law with how nice and clean we keep the place. I'm not too worried, I just don't want to give her something to complain about.

I went to that fertility specialist and got a great photo of an ultrasound of my uterus. Looks like I probably have a septate uterus rather than a didelphic one. Not too much of a difference when it comes to risks during pregnancy, but now I've got all the info I need to feel smart. Plus, I've got a cool ultrasound picture. (I'm into stuff like that.)

I got my hair cut. 10 inches were donated to Locks for Love. Another inch or two ended up on the floor. I'm liking it short, it's so much lighter and healthy. Even my husband, who before hand was begging me not to get rid of the long hair, likes the new do and thinks I'm so cute. That's because I am so cute and always have been, short hair or not.

And on a completely different note:
Oh my, I love my cats.
(I love the dog too, but it's a different form of affection.)
